Instructions to Use Hibiscus Flowers
- Hibiscus Hair Mask
- Ingredients: Fresh or dried hibiscus flowers, coconut oil or yogurt.
- Instructions:
- If using fresh flowers, wash them thoroughly and remove the petals. If using dried flowers, soak them in water for a few hours.
- Grind the petals into a fine paste.
- Mix the paste with coconut oil or yogurt to form a smooth consistency.
- Apply the mixture to your scalp and hair, covering from roots to tips.
- Leave it on for 30-60 minutes.
- Rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water and follow with a mild shampoo.
- Hibiscus Tea
- Ingredients: Dried hibiscus petals, water, honey or lemon (optional).
- Instructions:
- Boil water and add a handful of dried hibiscus petals.
- Let it simmer for 5-10 minutes until the water turns a deep red color.
- Strain the tea into a cup.
- Add honey or lemon for taste, if desired.
- Drink the tea hot or cold.
- Hibiscus Face Pack
- Ingredients: Fresh or dried hibiscus flowers, honey, yogurt or aloe vera gel.
- Instructions:
- Grind fresh or soaked dried hibiscus petals into a fine paste.
- Mix the paste with honey and yogurt or aloe vera gel to form a smooth mixture.
- Apply the face pack evenly to your face and neck.
- Leave it on for 15-20 minutes.
- Rinse off with lukewarm water and pat your skin dry.
- Hibiscus Oil
- Ingredients: Fresh hibiscus flowers, coconut oil or olive oil.
- Instructions:
- Heat coconut oil or olive oil in a pan.
- Add fresh hibiscus petals to the oil and let it simmer on low heat for 10-15 minutes.
- Allow the oil to cool, then strain out the petals.
- Store the hibiscus-infused oil in a clean, dry bottle.
- Use the oil for hair massages or as a skin moisturizer.
