INSTRUCTION TO USE:
- Food – Kadalai maavu is a staple ingredient in Indian and Middle Eastern cooking, and can be used to make snacks like pakoras, bhajis, and dhokla, as well as sweets like laddus and Mysore pak. You can also use roasted gram flour for milk burfi, which is a great treat for kids.
- Skin – Kadalai maavu has exfoliating and alkaline properties that can help remove impurities, prevent breakouts, and remove tan. You can mix it with lemon juice or rosewater, yogurt or malai, and turmeric to make a face mask. You can also use kadalai maavu soap, which is made with besan dhall and coconut oil, to remove acne and dead skin, reduce excess oil, and lighten skin tone.
- Hair – The nutrients in kadalai maavu can help with dandruff. You can mix it with water to make a solution and leave it on your hair for about 10 minutes before washing it out with cold water
